SOC refers to the charge situation, also known as the remaining power consumption, indicates the ratio of the remaining volume of a rechargeable battery after a period of time or a long period of time, between the remaining volume of the battery under complete battery charging, generally expressed as a percentage. Its value ranges from 0 to 1. When SOC=0, it means the complete charging and discharging of the rechargeable battery, and when SOC=1, it will fill the rechargeable battery. The SOC of a rechargeable battery cannot be measured immediately and accurately, and its size is only possible based on the main parameters such as the DC voltage of the rechargeable battery, the charging current of the battery, and the internal resistance. Due to the hazards of various variability factors such as rechargeable battery embrittlement, operating temperature transition and vehicle operation, the accuracy of SOC may become an urgent problem to be solved in the development trend of battery vehicles.

"SOH" refers to the battery volume, physical and mental health level, characteristics, simply speaking is the ratio of the technical parameters and rated current of the rechargeable battery after a period of application, the new original rechargeable battery is 100%, all damage is 0%. It is the ratio of the volume and the relative short-circuit capacity released by charging and discharging a certain multiple of the cutoff voltage from the full charge of the rechargeable battery, and the simple understanding is the limit volume size of the rechargeable battery. There is a certain correlation between intracellular resistance and SOH. With the decrease of SOH, the internal resistance of the rechargeable battery is also expanded. The internal resistance value of the rechargeable battery is indirectly calculated according to the test of the main parameters such as working voltage, current flow and temperature, and then the SOH is calculated according to the correlation between SOH and the internal resistance of the battery. However, when the SOH change range is not large, the internal resistance change of the rechargeable battery is insignificant, while when the embrittlement of the rechargeable battery is serious, the resistance change is large. Therefore, when the SOH change range is small, the data error of this method is large.
